The Corner of Stanley & Riley, 2021
Oil & cold wax on board (unframed)

I used to be stuck in the corporate world, spending numerous years on what felt like an endless hamster wheel. To be honest, I didn't particularly enjoy it.

However, during one of those jobs, I had the opportunity to work in a fascinating location on Riley Street in Darlinghurst. As I made my way there each day, I passed by a worn and textured wall situated at the end of a row of terraces.

I became increasingly intrigued by this wall and saw it as a captivating subject. I took a few photographs of it and then set out to transform those images into something that could adorn the interior of a stylish terrace house.
